Taz is a rescue dog I adopted in July of 2009 when he was 2.5 years old. My best guess is that he's part Labrador Retriever, part Shepherd of some sort. He's the first dog I've had that has been completely mine, by his choice. He's now officially a senior dog, but don't tell him that!
Yes this is the same Kelsa as below. She decided that being a guide puppy wasn't for her. I really can't leave Kelsa just listed as the puppy below, because her personality and naughtiness has really blossomed in the past three years of being a pet. She's a sweet little goofball who just wants to love and be loved by everyone.
Tualha is my brother's cat who has been around as long as Tahoi has. She's a nice enough beast who loves anyone who has a warm lap to sleep on.
My older brother whom I love dearly. He has some trouble with processing speed, very slight Asperger's, and has a kidney transplant. He lives at home and is a huge help taking care of the animals while our Mom is working. He is a old wise soul in the process of growing into a a great independent person. It's a challenge not to mother him, but it's better for everyone if I let him grow on his own, at his own pace and in his own way.
